Deb DiTomaso

My name is Deb Ditomaso. I'm a mom of three, a writer, book collector, runner and a nurse. I love peculiar trees, old burial grounds, haunting historical sites, and macabre stories.

In my free time, I lead a writers' critique group and local charity fundraisers for Multiple Sclerosis research.
My Story
When I was 9, I wrote my first book about a baby elephant that shot rainbow jellybeans from its trunk when she was nervous. She would always share with her friends, though. My parents did not share my enthusiasm about the story, questioning the cleanliness of jellybeans coming from an animal's nose.

My passion for writing has continued throughout the years and my children and pets have served as inspiration for my stories.
I have two pet catfish I rescued from a puddle (true story) named Simon and Schuster. They live happily in a pond in my yard. Since 1995, I have also shared my home with llamas. And, in case you were curious, llamas do not like shots, haircuts, or their nails trimmed like some grown-up kids I know.
